Meridian District Art Project 

The Meridian District Art Project (MDAP) was established in 2018 from community conversations with Design South Dakota. Originally Art in the Alley's, MDAP expanded its coverage area to all of the Meridian District to promote walkability and beautify the historic downtown area. MDAP is organized by a group of community volunteers who advocate for community murals big and small. MDAP joined forces with Yankton Area Arts in August of 2022.
