I am a local Yankton photographer who has taken photos for 40 years, but on a serious level for 15 years. Over 250 of my photos grace the walls of Yankton area businesses and residences.
Artist's Statement
You could take photos of your Grandma's knitting basket and her worn slippers, and this would capture a photo of her without actually showing her face. I try to do that with my photography - take photos of God's handiwork and end up with a picture of Him to bring joy to others.
I strive to make my photos come alive emotionally for the viewer--to evoke a feeling of peace, awe, joy, even sadness. I want to make the viewer feel something.
