Classes & Workshops Policies and Terms
Missed Class Policy
Yankton Area Arts enjoys providing high quality classes and experiences for adults, teens, and children. Each class requires a minimum number of students enrolled to ensure adequate accommodations, materials, and payment for the instructor.
As we make decisions regarding classes based on a variety of factors, including the number of students enrolled, we are generally unable to offer make-up classes, credits, or refunds for classes missed if notice is not given within 48 hours of the scheduled class start time. If you are unable to make it to a class and notify us more than 48 hours in advance, a refund will be sent to you. Credits for classes will not be held.
In the event of a cancellation by YAA or the host at any point after registration, a refund will be processed or the class will be rescheduled if possible.
Yankton Area Arts reserves the right to video record and/or photograph individuals and use the clips and/or photographs in promotional videos, print and online. These materials will become the property of YAA and will not be returned.
By agreeing to attend our classes you are giving YAA permission to edit, copy, exhibit, or publish the video recordings and/or photographs of you and/or your artwork for lawful educational and promotional purposes.
