Dakota Prairie Concert Series: Humbletown

A bluegrass, old time, hot club swing, Americana, and classic country band will be bringing its clawhammer banjo, flatpick guitar, upright bass, and more to the Yankton United Church of Christ-Congregational (YUCC) on Friday, October 18, at 7 p.m., as the first entry in a second year of Dakota Prairie Concerts being provided for free to music lovers of the community and area.

Humbletown – born in Vermillion – is now headquartered in the Black Hills, and their performance in the church’s historic sanctuary (5th & Walnut) will be the beginning of a tour that will include Kansas City, the Twin Cities, Chicago, and many smaller venues, all organized around a gig at FARM (Folk Alliance Regional Midwest) later in October.
